This policy explains what information Dragon Forge Platforms collects through this website, dragonforge.app, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Dragon Forge Platforms is a business in the State of Texas. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Dragon Forge Platforms.
Information we collect
When you apply for the Mission OS beta, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and organization
- Your role, if you choose to give it
- Which Mission OS modules interest you, if you choose any
- Anything you write in the notes box
- The page of our website you applied from
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, your organization if you give it, your message, and the page of our website you sent it from.
To prevent spam, our website uses the internet (IP) address your form submission comes from to limit how many submissions can be sent in a short time. It is stored in a scrambled form that does not show the address, for about 10 minutes, and then discarded. If a form has an error, a temporary copy of what you typed is kept for up to 10 minutes so the form can be refilled for you.
Cookies. Our forms do not set cookies. WordPress, the software that runs this website, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. Our fonts are served from our own website, not from Google or another font service.
Why we collect it and how we use it
- Beta applications: to review applications, choose beta participants and contact applicants about the Mission OS beta program.
- Contact messages: to read and reply to your message.
- Spam prevention: to keep automated submissions out of our forms.
We use your information only for these purposes.
How we store and protect it
Form submissions are saved in our website’s database. Our website runs on servers provided by DigitalOcean located in the United States. Only people with administrator accounts on our website can view submissions. Information sent through our forms travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
When someone submits a form, our website emails a copy of the submission to us so we can respond.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Sharing your information
We share information only with the service providers that run our website and email, as described above, and only so they can provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
This website is meant for people who work or volunteer with organizations. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
